purcell's zone entries are amazing. he does a fantastic job getting the puck into the oppositions end of the ice, the only thing he needs to do more is shoot the god damn shot. the guy has a (frank)ing cannon of a shot and doesn't use it. one of the best shots on our team, never used it once, and when he did, he scored...imagine that? |

zone entries and offensive possession are a couple things we need help on.
The shooting thing doesn't bother me too much, as we have a few shooters to play with him, not a stamkos, but a few guys who like to shoot. I can see it getting annoying though, I hate when guys give up a prime opportunity to dish it off. |

looks like a guy that can compliment skill lines. Been between 1st and 3rd line production the past 4 years. If he can put up 40-45 points and push possession, I'm very happy.
The 3rd line wingers for the last 20 games last year were like Pinizzoto and Hendricks. Now Pouliot n Purcell. Big big improvement there. A lot of talk over the centre depth being terrible, but last year's was RNH-Gagner-Gordon-Acton. If Draisaitl's like a 3rd line quality centre would that not be worse than RNH-Arco-Draisaitl-Gordon? |

I would end my life if EDM traded Perron or especially Yak for a 3rd line centre let alone one that wants the money sutter does |

I think i hate it more when guys pass up an opportunity to shoot. The Hawks are guilty of this a lot. Many times looking for the easy tap-in instead of just firing. Makes me go crazy game after game. |

I'd be curious of line combos like this:
Hall Nuge Purcell
Since Purcell has shown he can excel with good linemates and has a tendency to pass but does own a good shot. This line could play tough comp.
Perron Arco Eberle
Not the biggest line but a decent mix of different player types. I do wonder how Eberle will produce off of Hall's line.
Pouliot Draisaitl Yak
Assuming Draisaitl makes the team. Softer competition here. Size and feistiness/edge. Be good to have an experienced guy like Pouliot who tends to drive possession to play with a playmaker like Draisaitl and a guy who needs to bounce back in Yakupov. I also find Yakupov plays better with grittier linemates. |

Just in case it wasn't included in your data Matt, Purcell also has 18 points in 22 playoff games |

Probably Simon Despres or Derrick Pouliot. Those guys will be good for years to come.....but as said before we are not good trading partners |

Only Dallas Eakins knows how he plans to use the Right Winger
That's what you think, he'll end up at center knowing Eakins madness. |

I think we may see something like that for a time at least. I'd think change Perron and Pouliot though maybe to spread out some size and grit.
